Menard Community Demo Bank is a fictional bank built by software engineering students as a capstone project. It exists to show we can design, build, secure, and deploy the kind of systems banks and IT teams rely on.
Is this a real bank?
No. Menard Community Demo Bank does not exist. It is not chartered, licensed, or regulated by any state or federal agency, and it is not affiliated with any real bank, credit union, or company.
Is my money insured?
There is no money. The site is not a member of the FDIC and nothing on it is insured. Every balance, rate, loan, and transaction is test data.
Can I deposit or withdraw real money?
No. Deposit and withdrawal screens simulate banking workflows. No card is charged and no money is sent or received. Never send real money to anyone claiming to represent this site.
Are the people real?
No. Staff names, testimonials, branch addresses, phone numbers (555-01xx), and statistics are invented. Photos are licensed stock images of models.
Who can see my information?
Only the student team and instructors evaluating the project. Please sign up with test details, not your real Social Security number, bank credentials, or card numbers.
How long will this site be online?
Only for the duration of the course presentation. After grading, the site, database, and domain will be taken down and all test data deleted.
