Menard Community Demo Bank is a fictional bank created for a software engineering capstone project. It is not a bank, credit union, money transmitter, escrow agent, or insurance agency. It is not licensed or regulated, and it is not FDIC insured.
2. No real money
All balances, transactions, loans, escrows, and insurance policies are simulated. No money is received, held, sent, or lent. Nothing on this site is an offer of a financial product.
3. Do not enter real information
Use made-up names, addresses, and numbers. Never enter a real Social Security number, bank account, card number, or password you use elsewhere.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site, its name, or its design to mislead anyone into believing it is a real bank.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Do not upload unlawful or harmful content.
5. Availability
The site is provided as is for the duration of the course and will be taken offline and deleted after the capstone presentation.
6. Trademarks and content
Names, people, and figures are fictional. Photos are stock images used under their license. Any resemblance to a real institution is unintentional.
